Cheery Cherries!
Cute 3-D Cherry Tutorial!
Start off with a pearly white base. Actually any light color will do, up to you really.
Add 1 coat of glitter. (You can skip this step if you want plain glossy nails.)
Using a small thin paintbrush, paint very thin strokes on your nails. I used green here, cos cherry stalks are green..duh..:P You dont have to worry about getting them all the same size and on the same spot. A little variation actually looks nicer.
Here are my pots of the red and green I used. I bought these from a push-cart in suntec. Comes in 1 long tube with many pots of different color. Only $29.90...But I must say the quality is not very good. The color is not even and the texture is harder to control than the japanese brand I bought before. Of course you get what you pay for, so I'm not complaining.
Now use your brush to dip in the acrylic liquid (found out it's called Monomer), then into the red powder and place the mixture onto the end of 1 stalk. It will form a round shape on its own, that's why this pattern is really easy to do. No shaping required.
Continue adding on all the stalks.
Finally add 1 layer of top coat! Very important cos without the nail & cherries look dull.
Ta-Dah! Cool cherry nails!
